  • 1 medium blood orange, rind, pith, and seeds removed
  • ½ a lemon, rind, pith, and seeds removed
  • 2 inch piece (10g) turmeric root, peeled
  • 1 inch piece (10g) fresh ginger, peeled

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Peel and chop the beet, scrub and chop the carrots, and carefully remove the rind, pith, and seeds from the blood orange and lemon. Peel the turmeric root and fresh ginger to ensure smooth blending.
  2. Juicing: Using a juicer, process the chopped beet, carrots, blood orange, lemon, turmeric, and ginger together. If you do not have a juicer, use a high-speed blender and then strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
  3. Combine and Serve: Stir the extracted juice well to mix all flavors uniformly. Serve chilled or over ice for a refreshing drink.
