  1. Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Sauté the Mushrooms: Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet with the cooked sausage and continue cooking until the mushrooms release their moisture and it evaporates, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Combine Cream Cheese and Sour Cream: Lower the heat and add the cream cheese and sour cream to the sausage and mushroom mixture. Stir over low heat until the cream cheese melts and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Add Seasoning and Cheese: Stir in the garlic salt and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese until melted and fully incorporated.
