Scale

Juice Ingredients

  • 1 pound pineapple (approx. half a medium pineapple), peeled and cored
  • 1 pound celery (approx. 4 large ribs), washed and chopped
  • 1 medium Granny Smith apple, quartered and seeds removed
  • ½ inch fresh ginger, peeled

Instructions

  1. Prepare the produce: Wash all the fresh ingredients thoroughly. Peel and core the pineapple, chop the celery ribs into manageable pieces, quarter the apple removing all seeds, and peel a small piece of fresh ginger.
  2. Juicing process: Using a juicer, feed the pineapple, celery, apple, and ginger through the chute in any order you prefer. Collect the juice in a clean container.
  3. Mix and serve: Stir the juice well to combine all the flavors. Optionally, chill the juice in the refrigerator before serving or add ice cubes for a cold refreshment.
  4. Storage: For best taste and nutrient retention, consume the juice immediately. If storing, keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe pineapple for maximum sweetness and flavor.
  • Adjust the quantity of ginger based on your preference for spiciness.
  • If you don’t have a juicer, you can blend the ingredients with some water and strain through a fine sieve or cheesecloth.
  • This juice is hydrating and can aid in digestion due to the ginger and pineapple enzymes.
  • Consume juices immediately to maximize nutrient intake as some vitamins degrade quickly after juicing.
