Juice Ingredients
- 1 medium fresh pineapple, peeled and cored
- 1 lemon, peeled
- 5 medium fresh carrots, washed and trimmed
- 2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled
- Prepare the ingredients: Wash all the produce thoroughly. Peel the pineapple and lemon, removing the core from the pineapple. Trim the carrots and peel the ginger. Cut all ingredients into smaller chunks suitable for your juicer.
- Juicing: Feed the pineapple chunks, lemon, carrots, and ginger pieces through a juicer one at a time. Collect the juice in a large container or glass.
- Mix and serve: Stir the juice well to combine the flavors evenly. Pour into glasses and serve immediately for the freshest taste and maximum nutrient retention.
- Optional chilling: If desired, chill the juice in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes before serving or add ice cubes to your glass.
Notes
- Fresh juice is best consumed immediately to preserve nutrients and flavor.
- Adjust the amount of ginger depending on your spice preference.
- You can strain the juice if you prefer a smoother texture without pulp.
- If you don’t have a juicer, a high-speed blender can be used, followed by straining through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
