    • 5 medium potatoes
    • 3 large eggs

    • ½ cup chopped onion
    • ½ cup sweet pickle relish
    • ¼ cup mayonnaise
    • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
    • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
    • ¼ teaspoon celery salt
    • ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil Potatoes: Boil potatoes until tender, then cool, peel, and dice.
  2. Cook Eggs: Hard boil eggs, cool, peel, and chop.
  3. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine potatoes, eggs, celery, onion, and relish.
  4. Make Dressing: In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, garlic salt, celery salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine: Pour dressing over potato mixture and toss gently to coat.
  6. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • You can customize this potato salad by adding crispy bacon, chopped pickles, or fresh herbs.
  • To lighten the dish, use Greek yogurt in place of some or all of the mayonnaise.
