This Lasagna Flatbread recipe combines the flavors of traditional lasagna in a quick and easy flatbread form. Layers of ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and sausage are spread over flatbreads, then baked to gooey perfection.

Cheese Mixture:

    • 1 (15 ounce) container ricotta cheese
    • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
    • 1 (3 ounce) package Parmesan cheese
    • 1 egg
    • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 pound sausage
  • ½ (26 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 6 flatbreads

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare cheese mixture: In a bowl, mix ricotta, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Cook sausage: Cook the sausage until browned, then drain excess fat.
  4. Assemble flatbreads: Spread cheese mixture on flatbreads, top with cooked sausage, marinara sauce, and remaining mozzarella.
  5. Bake: Bake for about 12-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Slice and serve hot.

  • You can customize the toppings by adding vegetables like bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms.
  • For a vegetarian option, substitute the sausage with sautéed mushrooms or tofu crumbles.
