  • 355ml heavy whipping cream
  • 225g mascarpone cheese (room temperature)
  • 67g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 355ml cold espresso
  • 3 tbsp coffee-flavored liqueur (optional, like Kahlua)
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Whip the cream: In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. Combine ingredients: In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Gently fold in the whipped cream.
  3. Assemble the tiramisu: Dip ladyfingers in espresso and arrange a layer in a dish. Spread a layer of the cream mixture on top. Repeat layers, ending with a cream layer.
  4. Chill and serve: Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, skip the coffee-flavored liqueur.
  • Allow the flavors to meld by refrigerating the tiramisu overnight for even better taste.
