Ingredients

Scale

Semi-Sweet Chocolate Layer

  • 7 oz (198 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 8.5 oz (about 1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

White Chocolate Layer

  • 7 oz (198 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 8.5 oz (about 1 cup) white chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Christmas sprinkles, plus extra for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal of the fudge later.
  2. Make Semi-Sweet Chocolate Layer: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir continuously until the chocolate has fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla extract, and pour this layer evenly into the prepared pan. Refrigerate for about 20-30 minutes or until set but still slightly soft.
  3. Make White Chocolate Layer: In the same saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips over low heat. Stir until melted and smooth, then remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract along with 2 tablespoons of Christmas sprinkles.
  4. Assemble: Pour the white chocolate mixture gently over the semi-sweet chocolate layer, spreading evenly. Sprinkle extra Christmas sprinkles over the top for decoration.
  5. Chill and Set: Refrigerate the assembled fudge for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
  6. Serve: Lift the fudge out of the pan using the foil overhang and cut into small squares. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Use good quality chocolate chips for best taste and smooth texture.
  • Be sure to stir continuously while melting chocolate to prevent scorching.
  • Allow each layer to set slightly before adding the next to maintain clear layers.
  • Christmas sprinkles add festive color but can be replaced with nuts or other toppings as desired.
  • Store fudge refrigerated to keep texture firm and fresh up to 2 weeks.
