Main Ingredients:

    • 300g 5% fat beef mince
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 bell pepper, chopped
    • 3 garlic cloves, minced
    • 250g cooked rice

Sauce:

    • 20ml dark soy sauce
    • 15ml sriracha
    • 10g tomato puree
    • 20g honey

Optional Toppings:

  • sliced spring onion
  • sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef: In a pan, cook the beef mince until crispy. Remove from pan and set aside.
  2. Sauté the vegetables: In the same pan, sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic until softened.
  3. Make the sauce: Mix together soy sauce, sriracha, tomato puree, and honey. Add to the pan with vegetables.
  4. Combine everything: Add the cooked beef back to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
  5. Serve: Serve the crispy chilli beef over cooked rice and top with optional toppings.

Notes

  • You can adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less sriracha sauce.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or broccoli for extra nutrients.
