  • 1 (32 ounce) package frozen potato tots (about 6 1/2 cups) (such as Ore-Ida® Crispy Tater Tots)
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup (such as Campbell’s®)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 5 cups shredded rotisserie chicken (from 1 [3 pound] chicken)
  • 4 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/4 cups cooked and crumbled bacon (about 10 slices), divided
  • sliced scallions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Layer ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch dressing, ranch dressing mix, black pepper, and garlic. Layer half of the tater tots in the bottom of the prepared dish, followed by half of the soup mixture, half of the chicken, half of the cheese, and half of the bacon. Repeat the layers.
  3. Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  4. Serve: Garnish with sliced scallions before serving.
