  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1⁄4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken: Combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, Chinese five-spice powder, and sesame oil in a bowl. Add chicken thighs and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Grill the chicken: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes per side or until cooked through.

Notes

  • You can also bake the marinated chicken in the oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes.
  • For a stronger flavor, marinate the chicken overnight in the refrigerator.
